I LOVE MY JOB!!
Imagine rolling around on the floor with little ones (big ones too!!). Capturing a families love on film, to be a story and an heirloom for generations to come.
There’s no cheese at Childish, just lots of laughter and giggles. It looks and sounds chaotic (because it normally is!). That’s how you get the best smiles and the cheeky glint in a child’s eye.
I love working with kids mainly because they are so real, there’s no pretence and they are so unpredictable, you just don’t know which way it’s going to go. That’s why I never tire of it, everyday always so different and so challenging.
I have been a Photographer for 18 years studying originally at RMIT in Melbourne. I also have Certificate 3 in Children’s Services (I always wanted to be a kindergarten teacher too!!). I have specialised in black & white images of pregnant women, babies, children and families for the last 9 years.
I can’t see myself giving it up (maybe when I’m too old to get down on the floor and roll anymore!)
